Digital transcription is quite simply audio typing but without the need for tapes which simplifies your secretarial support procedures substantially.  The recording is created digitally, which basically means on a digital device such as a dictaphone or computer and the file created is a PC compatible audio format such as MP3.  There are however many other different types of audio formats, all of which we can cater for.



How it works

A digital dictaphone creates an 'audio file' recorded on to the machine’s memory, in the same way that a standard dictaphone records onto a cassette tape.



The beauty of this is, not only the dramatic improvement in sound quality, but this file can now be sent anywhere in the world to be typed, instead of physically handing it to your secretary.

All you need to do is speak into your digital dictaphone, connect it to your PC, upload your voice file and email it to us.  We then transcribe the dictation and email the completed transcript back to you  in the format of your choice.  Now, what could be simpler than that?



We have the benefit of many different software transcription systems so we can transcribe many different types of digital audio files including MP3, WAV and DSS, no matter what model or make of dictaphone they are created on.
