adminOVERLOAD is the online solution to your audio typing needs providing secretarial support when you need it. Quite simply, we are the modern equivalent of the typing pool but working in a virtual world - which means you probably won't get to see us very often, but we are very real people!  We've been happily typing away for our customers for over 12 years now. 



We’d like to share a little of our history with you and explain about our ethos because we’re fond of thinking that we’re a little bit different to other audio typing and secretarial support companies that you may have come across.

AdminOverload was originally set up by Kate Bradbury in 2000.  She became aware that the demand for easily accessible freelance audio typing and secretarial support was growing, so she began networking and recruiting the best of the UKs self employed 'virtual assistants' to help support her customers.  To this day all of the audio typists / digital transcriptionists and virtual assistants (VAs) that assist Kate are hand picked, tried and tested and all have their own online secretarial support businesses.  They understand what it means to run your own business and how important it is to get the support that you need in order to meet deadlines.  They all have a career background either as a PA or Director’s secretary so we are talking top quality Miss Moneypennys, Man Fridays, or secretarial Mary Poppins! 



But most importantly we like to boast that English is the natural language of every member of our team. Now this might sound controversial but the reason we consider this to be most important is because we know from personal experience, outsourcing audio material for transcribing to off shore companies is a false economy.  With the best will in the world, even those who are fluent in English, but it not being their first or natural language  - they will almost always struggle with local dialects, colloquialisms, international accents, quirky place names and other quaint British-isms.
